Ayo Kembali ke TGX!

Tahun lalu, Journey To TGX adalah salah satu event gowes unsupported paling seru. Kita bersepeda dari Surabaya ke Trenggalek, merasakan Jalur Lintas Selatan (JLS) yang indah dengan pemandangan laut selatan Jawa. Begitu tiba di Trenggalek, kota yang ramah itu pun menyambut kita dengan penuh kebahagiaan. Menyediakan makanan lokal tanpa batas dan pesta durian!
Tahun ini, kita akan melakukannya lagi! Rutenya kurang lebih sama, menempuh jarak sekitar 250 km dari Surabaya ke Trenggalek. Bagian 190 km awalnya datar, melewati Kediri dan Tulungagung sebelum mencapai segmen JLS yang naik turun. Sebelum finish, kita lebih dulu melewati tanjakan pendek yang "agak pedas" menuju Slawe.
Total menanjaknya termasuk ringan, tidak sampai 1.500 meter.
Journey To TGX 2024 adalah event nonkompetitif. Kita tidak balapan. Time limit-nya rileks, hingga malam. Tapi banyak peserta akan mencoba menuntaskan rutenya sebelum matahari terbenam (Beat The Sun).
Sekali lagi kami ingatkan: Ini adalah event unsupported. Jadi tolong jangan curang dengan membawa mobil support. Peserta harus membawa perlengkapan dan ban cadangan sendiri. Tapi, peserta juga bebas mengajak teman sebanyak mungkin untuk saling membantu! Jadi, mari kita bersenang-senang dan menikmati Journey To TGX!
Let's Go Back To TGX!
The inaugural Journey To TGX is one of the most fun unsupported cycling event of 2024. We rode from Surabaya to Trenggalek, exploring the brand new Jalur Lintas Selatan (JLS), experiencing the beautiful view of the south coast of East Java. Once we arrive in Trenggalek, the charming town welcomed us with joy, providing us with endless local food and durian party!
This year, we will do it again! Using mostly the same route, going over 250 km from Surabaya to Trenggalek. The first 190 km is basically flat, traveling from Surabaya to Kediri, to Tulungagung, before going through the rolling routes of JLS. And then, just before the end, we tackle the short and sweet (and a little steep) climb to Slawe.
The total elevation gain is "easy", less than 1,500 meters of climbing!
Journey To TGX 2024 is a noncompetitive event. We are not racing. The time limit is relaxed, until evening. But many will try to reach the finish before sundown (Beat The Sun).
Reminder again: This is an unsupported riding event. So please don't cheat, no car support. You must bring your own tools and spare tubes. But you are free to bring as many friends as possible to support each other! So let's have fun and enjoy the JOURNEY TO TGX!
